Our mission is to spread real women’s stories to inspire positive change and impact society at large. We do that by promoting women’s achievements, inspiring personal style and celebrating sisterhood. We create original premium content designed for all screens and social platforms dedicated to passions, cultures and news relevant to young women. We are a team close to 200 people, working across three countries - Italy, Spain and UK, creating content and sharing experiences dedicated to a community of +11M women. Lucas LaRochelle founded Queering The Map, an online platform that started in 2017 with the question, “What makes a space LGBTQIA+ friendly?” In cities, queer spaces are often confined to certain neighbourhoods or venues: Lucas wanted to expand these spaces online by collecting over 850,000 stories from queer people all around the world. Each user can share their preferred testimony, and over the years, the platform has come to contain a variety of them, from the most touching to funny anecdotes to accounts of the historical moments we are living in. We are thrilled to share with you our just concluded experience in collaboration with Ohio State University and the company We Find Group. Over the past 3 weeks, we had the opportunity to host four bright students from the American university at our offices in Milan for a global internship program. This collaboration has been mutually enriching: on one hand, the students were able to broaden their horizons and grow professionally; on the other hand, we at Freeda Media had the opportunity to engage with new ideas and perspectives, enriched by their enthusiasm. We believe that experiences like this are essential for the personal and professional growth of young individuals, as well as for the exchange of knowledge, which is always enriching!
